Cloud Capacity Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Cloud Capacity & Efficiency Engineer, the full-time contract role will focus on capacity forecasting and planning for cloud and datacenter environments while working remotely during PST hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Own capacity forecasting and planning for cloud infrastructure and resources
• Run weekly stakeholder meetings to collect demand data and drive alignment
• Build and maintain forecasting models and generate executive-level reporting on capacity and efficiency

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in capacity management or demand planning at scale
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, including Kubernetes, EKS, and S3
• Expertise in scripting and automation using Python and SQL
• Experience with forecasting, data modeling, and data visualization tools
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and effectively communicate and present findings
