Cloud Computing Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud architectures, the full-time Cloud Computing Application Architect will work remotely to support Public Health data modernization initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding architectural strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of modern cloud architectures for Public Health data modernization
• Assess current environments and recommend tools and solutions for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid models
• Deploy and troubleshoot solutions within AWS and hybrid cloud environments while ensuring adherence to governance and security protocols

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and administering enterprise applications in cloud environments
• 5+ years of experience developing with .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL
• Experience architecting and deploying solutions in AWS and hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with Gen AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
