Cloud Cost Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Cost Analyst (FinOps) to help understand, forecast, and optimize the cost structure of cloud-based products.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud usage and infrastructure spending to identify cost drivers
• Build and maintain reports on infrastructure costs and usage patterns
• Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering team to assess the impact of architecture on costs

Required Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience in Python and SQL
• Experience in analyzing large datasets and creating reports or dashboards
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Ability to translate technical usage data into cost models and forecasts
• Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or similar)
