Cloud Data Architect

Job Summary

Serving as the primary technical authority on Snowflake Data Cloud strategy, the full-time Cloud Data Architect will design scalable and secure data platforms while addressing complex architectural challenges in a hands-on role focused on enterprise analytics and AI-native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan and engineer Snowflake/Big Data and cloud environments to support advanced analytics and data science initiatives
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and information security teams to ensure solutions meet customer functionality and IT engineering needs
• Lead the design of data solutions, including the creation of technical documents and mentoring junior team members

Required qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Data Management, and Data Lake design
• Expertise in Snowflake, including virtual warehouses, Snowpark, and related technologies
• Proven experience in designing scalable and cost-efficient data platforms
• Strong understanding of enterprise analytics and operational reporting
• Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions
