Cloud Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Cloud Data Engineer will collaborate with teams to design and implement cloud-based data warehouse solutions, enhance healthcare data analytics capabilities, and support AI initiatives using platforms like Snowflake, Power BI, and SAS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based data warehouse solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
• Facilitate discussions on data architecture and technology implementation best practices
• Manage ETL/ELT processes and contribute to the analytics transformation of healthcare data systems

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with data warehouse, data lake, and analytics implementations
• Proven experience with Power BI, SAS, and Snowflake
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Change Data Capture (CDC)
• Experience integrating with online transaction databases
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, with GCP exposure as a plus
