Cloud Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Database Administrator to join a growing team in support of a government agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available database solutions on AWS, OCI, and GCP
• Administer and tune various databases, ensuring data integrity and security during modernization and migration efforts
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible, and provide technical support for system enhancements and bug fixes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Proven experience as a DBA with Oracle and Postgres databases
• Experience with AWS database services, including Aurora, RDS, and Redshift
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python and Shell
