Cloud Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Database Engineer specializing in non-relational databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage non-relational database systems on the cloud platform
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and ensure observability and reliability through monitoring and alerting
• Optimize database performance, manage migrations, and enforce security best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience
• 5 years of experience in database administration or engineering
• Strong knowledge of GCP non-relational databases such as Mongo, Neo4j, and Firestore
• Experience with Cloud Run and Cloud Functions for event-driven architectures
