Job Summary

Leading a team of database professionals, the full-time Cloud Database Manager will oversee the strategy, administration, and security of cloud-based database platforms, ensuring high availability and performance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage enterprise cloud database platforms, ensuring reliability and performance
• Lead cloud migration and database modernization projects, transitioning workloads to cloud environments
• Develop and execute cloud database strategies aligned with business objectives and technology roadmaps

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience administering enterprise database environments, including Microsoft SQL Server and cloud platforms
• 3+ years of experience managing technical database administration teams
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance environments
• Strong knowledge of database security and compliance frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent experience
