Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Development Cloud Engineer to support the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead support for home-grown Java applications and software integration solutions
- Build a MFT cloud-native solution in AWS and assist in designing DevOps tool sets
- Maintain domain knowledge in cloud operations and DevOps best practices while resolving complex technical problems
Required Qualifications
- BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or master's with 6+ years of relevant experience; experience may substitute for degree
- Proficiency in Java/JEE, Python, JavaScript, Go, and scripting languages such as TerraForm and Ansible
- Strong experience in cloud technologies, cloud services, and cloud security
- Extensive experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the U.S. for at least three out of the last five years
