Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Patching Engineer to manage and optimize cloud application performance for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and improve an Enterprise patching solution
• Work with security teams to address vulnerability findings and participate in patching rotations
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and orchestration pipelines for application development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of cloud-based security tools and best practices
• Strong experience in cloud technologies, including IaC, cloud storage, and cloud security
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
