Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Engineer to help accelerate their Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the deployment, scaling, and maintenance of cloud-based SaaS and PaaS solutions
• Contribute to the design and implementation of non-functional requirements, infrastructure standards, and platform architecture
• Collaborate with internal AWS enablement teams to define cloud governance and best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or software engineering roles
• Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP certifications welcome)
• Strong scripting or development background (Java is ideal, C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
• Exposure to or interest in cloud security, particularly around configuration and vulnerability management
