Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Engineer (BID) to support operations in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Streamline the software development life cycle from requirements to production monitoring
• Incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to enhance team efficiency
• Implement continuous integration and delivery to minimize manual testing and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant experience (5 additional years may substitute for education)
• Certified Kubernetes Admin (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification
• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems engineering, system design, or software development
• 3+ years of experience with AWS services and container platforms like Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes
• Experience with advanced scripting languages and infrastructure as code development
