Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the Veterans Affairs Benefits Integrated Delivery initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, integration, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS environments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate system provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Bash
• Support CI/CD pipeline development and integrate security practices into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps)

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with supporting Linux systems engineering efforts
• 3+ years of experience with a complex build system
• 3+ years of experience configuring, integrating, and securing multiple AWS services
• 3+ years of experience as an administrator for container platforms like Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes
• Experience with advanced scripting languages and developing Infrastructure as Code
