Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Cloud Engineer, this full-time remote position focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure platforms to support ministry-critical workloads, utilizing open-source technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure platform services
• Provision and automate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools
• Monitor applications and infrastructure performance, responding to incidents as part of an on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or university program certificate in a related field, plus five to seven years of Cloud Engineering experience
• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a focus on platform operations and automation
• Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes in production and strong Linux administration skills
• Experience with open-source, on-premise environments; OpenStack and Ceph experience is a plus
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies required or the opportunity to complete upon hire
