Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Cloud Engineer, a full-time remote position responsible for building and supporting high-performing, scalable software applications and cloud infrastructure for USCIS modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and applications using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management tasks in cloud environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and scalability of cloud solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or platform engineering roles
• Strong understanding of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS cloud environments and AWS technology offerings
• Experience with container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and CI/CD environments
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
