Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Leading a development team on a significant modernization project, the contract Cloud Engineer will build new cloud infrastructure on AWS, develop APIs, and guide junior developers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of 10-12 developers in an agile environment
- Build new cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing AWS EKS and manage services like AWS Batch
- Design and develop Java-based API microservices for message translation and formatting
Required qualifications
- Experience with AWS EKS and AWS Batch
- Proficiency with distributed message queue systems
- Experience with API design for Java applications
- Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with Oracle DB
