Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting mission requirements, the full-time Cloud Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments in AWS and Azure, ensuring compliance with DoD security frameworks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain secure cloud environments in AWS and Azure, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate secure cloud deployments
• Optimize cloud networking configurations and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions for efficient operations

Required qualifications:

• Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining GovCloud infrastructures across AWS and Azure
• Proficiency in cloud architecture, networking, virtualization, and security best practices, including IaC tools like Terraform
• Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud configurations, including VPC peering and IAM
• Strong knowledge of the Authority to Operate (ATO) process and compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST standards
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or five years of equivalent experience in cloud engineering
