Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on site reliability, the full-time Cloud Engineer will build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure services in a fully remote or on-site role, ensuring the performance and scalability of ministry-critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimize cloud infrastructure platform services to support deployment and operation of workloads
• Provision and automate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools
• Monitor applications and infrastructure performance, responding to incidents and contributing to internal tooling and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or university program certificate in a related field, plus 5-7 years of Cloud Engineering experience
• Proven SRE or DevOps experience with a focus on reliability, automation, and production operations
• Extensive experience with observability systems and production stacks such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog
• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production and strong Linux administration skills
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); opportunity to complete upon hire if not already met
