Job Summary

As the primary Azure point of contact, the full-time Cloud Engineer will manage the administration, implementation, and security of the Federal Trade Commission's Azure environment, contributing to cloud and on-prem infrastructure operations while ensuring high availability and performance in a customer-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design, implementation, and security for hybrid connectivity across Azure and on-premises networks
  • Perform system administration tasks including patching, upgrades, and security management for Azure environments
  • Monitor network performance and implement enhancements to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with federal standards
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate certification (AZ-104)
  • Current DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification appropriate for Intermediate System Administrator roles
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud operations or engineering
  • Significant experience designing and maintaining Microsoft Azure environments, including Zero Trust and hybrid cloud architectures
