Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on supporting software applications for the Department of Transportation by migrating on-prem servers to AWS Cloud, ensuring server security, and managing system administration functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and resolve server vulnerabilities, ensuring security and compliance
• Migrate on-prem servers to AWS Cloud and support the transition to cloud services
• Provide user access management and support Disaster Recovery efforts

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Management Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree considered equivalent to two years of experience
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a Cloud engineering role
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
• Experience with Windows, Linux, Jenkins, and cloud technologies
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
