Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Product Metrics team, the remote Cloud Engineer will design, build, operate, and maintain petabyte-scale systems while ensuring performance, reliability, and availability of the product metrics systems.

Key responsibilities

• Determine the roadmap for the Product Metrics team and deliver new features
• Maintain business-critical systems, focusing on performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Mentor team members and participate in design discussions and on-call rotations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development of scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
• 2+ years of experience in software application development using Golang
• Experience with major Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency in managing large volumes of data using technologies like ClickHouse
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Temporal, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
