Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support enterprise applications and operations, the contract Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services remotely, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate environment setup
- Monitor system health, resolve performance issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Cloud Engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (BA, BS)
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Proven ability to automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools
