Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services to support enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate environment setup using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of Cloud Engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BA, BS)
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
