Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support the mission of spreading the Gospel, the full-time Cloud Engineer (SRE) will maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure services, ensuring reliability and performance in a fully remote or on-site role.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure platform services for ministry-critical workloads
• Provision and automate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, responding to incidents and supporting root cause analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or university program certificate in a related field, plus 5-7 years of Cloud Engineering experience
• Proven SRE or DevOps experience with a focus on reliability, automation, and production operations
• Extensive experience with observability systems and production stacks such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production and strong Linux administration skills
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); opportunity to complete upon hire if not already fulfilled
