Job Summary
To support the mission of spreading the Gospel, the full-time Cloud Engineer will build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure platform services, focusing on Infrastructure Systems in a fully remote or on-site environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure services to support ministry-critical workloads
- Provision and automate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools
- Monitor applications and infrastructure performance, responding to incidents and conducting root cause analysis
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or university program certificate in a related field, plus 5-7 years of Cloud Engineering experience
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a focus on automation and Infrastructure as Code
- Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes in production and strong Linux administration skills
- Experience with open-source, on-premise environments; knowledge of OpenStack and Ceph is a plus
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); opportunity to meet this requirement upon hire
