Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing client base, the contract Cloud Engineer will build and maintain complex infrastructure and data systems on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while working remotely for a duration of 4 weeks.
Key responsibilities
- Lead collaborations with architects and teams to design scalable infrastructure solutions on GCP
- Drive the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform for automation
- Integrate DevOps methodologies to establish CI/CD pipelines within the cloud ecosystem
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager
- In-depth understanding of GCP services, including Compute Engine and Kubernetes Engine
- Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification preferred
