Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support the transformation of legacy systems into cloud-native architectures, the full-time remote Cloud Engineer will focus on AWS cloud migration, containerized application platforms, and DevOps/CI/CD automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop migration strategies for transitioning applications to AWS
- Design, build, and deploy scalable AWS solutions using services such as EKS, EC2, and RDS
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation to automate AWS infrastructure provisioning
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or DevOps, with significant AWS experience
- 5+ years of AWS cloud migration experience, including application architecture and modernization strategies
- 5+ years of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience with automation and scripting in Bash, Python, and Groovy
- 3+ years of containerization experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts
