Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Cloud Engineer will collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, and support technical solutions using cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to implement and support cloud-native solutions and microservices
- Design and automate processes for provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure
- Integrate SaaS products and ensure secure connectivity within the Capital One ecosystem
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in application development using Python or similar programming languages
- 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud platforms and services
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- 4+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- 4+ years of data warehousing experience with Snowflake or similar platforms
