Cloud Engineer - Florida Licensed

Job Summary

To enhance the Linux-based infrastructure, the full-time Cloud Engineer - Florida Licensed will administer and automate systems, serve as a Tier 2 escalation point for incidents, and develop infrastructure solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux systems, primarily Ubuntu, across physical and virtual environments
• Manage and operate virtual machine workloads within HPE Morpheus Enterprise and VMware ESXi, including provisioning and lifecycle management
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and Terraform configurations for automation and infrastructure provisioning

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience with strong proficiency in Ubuntu Linux
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Ansible and Terraform
• Familiarity with HPE Morpheus Enterprise or similar platforms for VM provisioning
• Working knowledge of NetBox for IP address management and network documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
