Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cloud Engineer II (Linux) to manage cloud-based IT infrastructure for DHS/ICE in a remote environment, focusing on system administration, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing systems while ensuring security compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage cloud-based IT system infrastructure and processes
- Provide second-level problem diagnosis and resolution of issues
- Develop, code, test, and debug new Ansible Playbooks and enhancements to existing software
Required qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in installation, configuration, and administration of UNIX/Linux systems
- Experience supporting and securing cloud-based systems in AWS and Azure
- Experience with implementation and configuration of Kion
- Good UNIX shell scripting skills and exposure to DevOps tools like Ansible
- Strong knowledge of security standards and hardening requirements such as DHS 4300A and DoD STIG
