Cloud Engineer III

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced IT Systems Cloud Engineer III for a full-time remote position, this role will design and implement IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions while serving as a senior technical resource to support business partners and drive technology integration across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design technology solutions that meet technical requirements and maintain an inventory of all technology platforms
• Develop and implement automated backup strategies for both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and availability
• Provide subject matter expertise in the implementation and development of on-premise and cloud-based technology services, mentoring junior team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (2 years of experience can substitute for one year of formal education)
• 8+ years of experience supporting Windows server and Linux environments
• 4+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft AZ-900 and AZ-104 certifications, or equivalent experience
• Expert-level knowledge and design experience with Windows Server administration and cloud provisioning in AWS and/or Azure
