Cloud Engineering Advisor
Job Summary
To support the deployment and management of cloud platform services, the full-time remote Cloud Engineering Advisor will integrate and monitor cloud computing systems, develop infrastructure as code, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high levels of scalability and security.
Key responsibilities
- Design, integrate, and monitor cloud computing systems while managing deployments and troubleshooting platform services
- Develop infrastructure as code using scripts, templates, and CI/CD orchestration tools to enhance speed and consistency
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure deployed services meet scalability, reliability, and performance standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems, or equivalent formal training or work experience
- Five to seven years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in Terraform, YAML configurations, Shell scripting, and Kubernetes
- Experience in a leadership role within multi-function project teams
- Familiarity with Java or Python, Databricks, and Azure services is a plus
