Cloud Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading the development of enterprise cloud strategy, the full-time remote Cloud Engineering Director will manage cloud architecture, drive operational excellence, and foster high-performing teams while ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and execute cloud architecture and governance standards while overseeing platform engineering, SRE, and cloud security teams
• Manage departmental budgets and negotiate contracts to align with corporate goals and objectives
• Recruit, mentor, and develop staff to build a culture of automation and continuous improvement

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10 years of progressive experience in a healthcare environment
• Proven leadership experience in large-scale project planning, reporting, and budgeting
• Strong knowledge of information technology and healthcare systems
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to lead and interact with diverse teams across multiple facilities
