Cloud Financial Operations Lead

Job Summary

To support the organization's cloud financial management strategy, the full-time remote Cloud Financial Operations Lead will oversee the establishment of a FinOps Center of Excellence, promote cost transparency, and implement cloud cost-management tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the FinOps Center of Excellence, fostering financial accountability across teams
• Implement and optimize cloud cost-management platforms, providing actionable insights on expenses
• Develop and enforce cloud usage policies and governance controls to align spending with business value

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Finance; equivalent experience considered
• 3-5+ years of experience in cloud financial management or infrastructure operations, with a focus on enterprise public cloud environments
• Extensive expertise in AWS and Azure cloud cost and billing frameworks
• Advanced experience with tools like Flexera One, AWS Cost Explorer, and Azure Cost Management
• Strong analytical capabilities with SQL and large-scale data analysis experience
