Cloud FinOps & DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Driving cloud financial optimization, the full-time remote Cloud FinOps & DevOps Engineer will manage cloud infrastructure costs, implement automation solutions, and communicate financial insights to enhance decision-making across engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive engineered cloud savings, cost transparency, and forecasting accuracy across AWS and multi-cloud environments
• Identify spend anomalies, manage Reserved Instances and Savings Plans, and collaborate with engineering teams for cost-efficient technical changes
• Design and deliver automation, tooling, and dashboards to support FinOps, DevSecOps, and broader Cloud Technology objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, FinOps, or platform operations
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including cost management and compute resources
• 2 years of experience with cloud cost observability tooling, such as AWS Cost Explorer and AWS CloudWatch
• Strong executive-level presentation skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
• 1+ years of experience using AI/generative AI tools to enhance workflows and productivity
