Cloud FinOps Engineer

Job Summary

To optimize cloud financial management, the full-time Cloud FinOps Engineer will design and implement frameworks and processes, ensuring maximum business value from cloud resources while working remotely with variable shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive FinOps strategy for Azure cloud operations
• Continuously monitor and analyze cloud costs to identify areas for optimization and savings
• Create and maintain reports detailing cloud spending, usage, and optimization opportunities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five years of experience in cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks
• Three years of experience in Azure cloud financial management and cost optimization
• FinOps Certified Practitioner or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire
• Five years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations
