Cloud Foundry & AVS Consultant

Job Summary

To support a customer modernization initiative, the part-time remote Cloud Foundry & Azure VMware Solution (AVS) Consultant will assist with migrating VMware infrastructure to Azure, establish operational best practices for Cloud Foundry deployments, and provide technical guidance throughout the migration process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the migration of on-premises VMware clusters into Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
• Assess existing VMware environments and provide recommendations for migration readiness and best practices
• Create technical documentation, migration artifacts, and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to customer teams

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cloud Foundry administration, deployment, or platform operations
• Experience designing or executing Azure VMware Solution (AVS) migrations
• Strong understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware infrastructure
• Experience migrating on-premises VMware environments to public cloud platforms
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and deliver effective knowledge transfer
