Job Summary
Leading cybersecurity compliance and authorization efforts across multiple cloud environments, the full-time Cloud Information System Security Manager (ISSM) will manage FedRAMP and DoD RMF authorizations, ensure continuous compliance with federal security requirements, and support cloud-based systems throughout their lifecycle while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the designated ISSM for cloud architecture, maintaining cybersecurity and overseeing security documentation
- Manage all cloud system POA&M items in FedRAMP and eMASS, ensuring continuous monitoring requirements are met
- Act as the primary cybersecurity advisor for cloud programs, coordinating audits and assessments with system owners and government stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent cybersecurity experience and certifications
- DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAM Level II/III certification such as CISSP, CAP, or CISM
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles supporting federal or DoD environments
- Demonstrated experience with FedRAMP and DoD cloud security requirements, including managing Authority to Operate (ATO) packages
- Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls and RMF activities
