Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in a full-time capacity, this role focuses on architecting, building, and operating secure and reliable cloud infrastructure while managing core security and compliance operations in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate platform infrastructure by designing and implementing infrastructure-as-code platforms for product engineering
• Own cloud networking architecture, managing VPC/network topology and secure remote access with a focus on zero-trust networking
• Improve reliability and performance by continuously monitoring and optimizing backend infrastructure for operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles in cloud-native SaaS environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider (AWS and/or GCP)
• Practical production experience with cloud networking and secure connectivity models
• Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
• Experience operating CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent)
