Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will monitor and maintain Azure Government enclaves and Kubernetes clusters, assist in deploying and configuring systems, and support compliance activities while participating in an on-call rotation.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor installed systems and infrastructure, escalating anomalies as per established procedures
- Assist in deploying, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems and application software
- Support system availability targets and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure platform SLAs are met
Required qualifications
- Two years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations, with hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure
- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration concepts, including Kubernetes fundamentals
- Demonstrated scripting ability in at least one language (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Security+ certification (or equivalent IAT Level II certification) or the ability to obtain it within ninety days of hire
