Job Summary
To support the development of a next-generation modeling and simulation framework, the full-time Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will integrate with the platform engineering team to advance Infrastructure as Code practices, manage Kubernetes deployments, and develop Helm configurations in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Develop and manage Kubernetes clusters, including Helm charts for complex applications
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring for scalability and reliability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field
- US citizenship and ability to obtain a Top-Secret/SCI clearance
- Strong hands-on experience administering and securing Kubernetes environments
- Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman
- Scripting experience for automation and operational tasks (Ansible, Python, Bash, etc.)
