Job Summary
Owning the real-time cloud infrastructure for connecting software systems to physical hardware, the full-time remote Senior/Staff Software Engineer will manage data paths, AWS infrastructure, and AI-driven development processes while ensuring system reliability and observability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full data path from edge telemetry to asset dispatch, defining service-level objectives and ensuring data integrity
- Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure using Terraform, focusing on containerized services and operational best practices
- Advance an AI-first software development lifecycle by building systems for safe, scalable code verification and deployment
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure at scale, particularly with AWS and Terraform
- Hands-on site reliability experience with primary on-call responsibility for critical production systems
- Experience with real-time or physical systems in industrial technology, energy, or related fields
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or both, with practical experience in AI development tools
- An internal-product mindset, having built self-service tooling that engineers actively adopt
