Job Summary

Leading a team focused on cloud infrastructure, the full-time remote Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager will oversee the development and maintenance of Kubernetes-based, multi-cloud infrastructure for a SaaS product, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security while integrating AI for operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the team responsible for Camunda's SaaS cloud infrastructure, emphasizing execution and a strong engineering culture
• Guide the design and evolution of multi-cloud infrastructure, prioritizing reliability, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with product engineering and other teams to enhance platform safety and efficiency for deployment

Required qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience leading engineers in building and managing production infrastructure for a SaaS product
• Strong technical background in cloud infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering (SRE)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production, focusing on scaling and reliability
• Experience with multiple major cloud providers and understanding the trade-offs of multi-cloud operations
• Proven ability to work with senior engineers and stakeholders to implement significant infrastructure improvements
