Cloud Infrastructure Principal Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the cloud infrastructure end-to-end, the full-time remote Cloud Infrastructure Principal Engineer will set technical direction, lead a small team, and focus on infrastructure and developer enablement while ensuring efficient operations and security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cloud infrastructure, leveraging IaC, CI/CD, and observability to enhance operational efficiency
• Oversee the SDLC surface area to enable rapid deployment and monitoring for engineering teams
• Lead a high-impact team while collaborating with cross-functional leaders to unify technical efforts across the organization

Required qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience operating production infrastructure across at least two major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Experience building and operating modern CI/CD systems, dev environments, and observability stacks
• Proven ability to ship AI-native operational systems and manage governance and security participation
• Strong point of view on platform philosophy with experience in regulated domains preferred
• Demonstrated success in building and developing teams with a focus on growth and composition
