Cloud Native Solutions Architect

Job Summary

Leading a high-impact team of platform engineers, the full-time Sr. Solutions Architect, Cloud Native will manage TradeStation's internal Kubernetes platform, driving cloud-native technology adoption and ensuring operational excellence in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Kubernetes platform team, focusing on hiring, performance management, and career development
• Architect and evolve the Kubernetes platform strategy, including disaster recovery and hybrid cloud deployments
• Ensure platform meets financial services SLAs and define incident response procedures to mitigate architectural risks

Required qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS or other major cloud providers
• 3+ years of experience in a progressive technical leadership role (team lead, tech lead, or similar)
