Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to support a federal customer in a hybrid role in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports the operation of the cloud backbone for network communications systems, providing specifications and detailed schematics for cloud network architectures
• Administers, monitors, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of systems
• Conducts testing of network design

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related degree
• At least 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering
• Maintains technical expertise in network and computer hardware and software, including routers, firewalls, switches, and gateways
• Understands the functionality, performance, and scalability of commodity cloud servers, operating systems, and networks
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance and relevant certifications (IAT-2, and one or more cloud certifications)
