Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the US Department of the Treasury's TCloud enterprise cloud development effort, the full-time Cloud Network Engineer will manage the configuration, installation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco devices, in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support network components within cloud platforms, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Monitor network operations, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate with network administrators to manage and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, and VPN concentrators in cloud environments

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related experience or a Master's degree with 4+ years of related experience
• Strong experience with Terraform and AWS Security group deployment
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks and standards, including DNS, DHCP, and NAT
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
