Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

To manage and optimize cloud network infrastructure in AWS environments, the contract Cloud Network Engineer will provide L2/L3 support for AWS networking components while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT Gateways, endpoint, DNS, VPN, R53, WAF, and Internet Gateways
• Manage and troubleshoot hybrid connectivity (Site-to-Site VPN, Client VPN, Direct Connect) and network performance issues
• Automate network provisioning and configurations using Terraform or CloudFormation, and maintain documentation for network architecture

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in AWS cloud networking and operations
• Proficiency with AWS networking components and services
• Experience in network monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and CloudTrail
• Familiarity with load balancing solutions (ALB/NLB) and DNS services using Route 53
• Knowledge of network access controls using Security Groups and NACLs
