Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Cloud Network Engineer for a fully remote contract position, this role involves designing, implementing, and supporting secure cloud networking solutions across hybrid infrastructures, with a focus on DNS management and automation of network performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud networking infrastructure, including virtual networks and gateways
• Manage enterprise DNS architecture and troubleshoot network and DNS issues
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for DNS and networking resources using Terraform

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and routing fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with enterprise DNS environments and cloud networking services within AWS, Azure, or both
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking and VPN connectivity
• Professional networking or cloud certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or CCNA, are preferred
