Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support a major multi-cloud enterprise development effort for a prominent US Federal Cabinet Agency, the contract-to-hire Cloud Network Engineer will manage the configuration, installation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco devices, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support network components within cloud platforms such as Azure and OCI
• Monitor network performance, system availability, and identify potential issues for corrective actions
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting for network-related issues

Required qualifications:

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree with seven years of related experience or a Master's degree with four years of related experience
• Strong experience with Terraform and AWS Security group deployment
• Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls and configuring Cisco IPsec
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP network technologies and DoD STIGs
